Standard delivery
We aim to deliver stocked shop items within:
- UK – 2-3 working days
- International – 1-2 weeks
All UK standard deliveries are carried out by our courier partner DPD using a fully tracked service.
Please note some items may come from separate locations and therefore arrive in separate deliveries.
If the delivery time frame for each item has passed and you are still waiting for any items from your order, please contact us and our friendly customer service team will be happy to help resolve this.
Christmas 2024 last order dates
To ensure your order arrives in time for Christmas Day, please place your order with us by the dates below:
- International unframed custom prints: Sunday 24 November
- International orders including framed custom prints: Sunday 01 December
- UK framed and unframed custom prints: Sunday 08 December
- UK standard delivery: Thursday 19 December
Framed custom prints
We aim to deliver framed custom prints within 1-2 weeks for UK delivery. International orders may take 2-4 weeks.
As each print is handmade to order, these orders take slightly longer and will arrive separately from other items.
Furniture and neon lights
Our furniture collection by Goldfinger Design is also made to order, available only for delivery in the UK. The production lead time is 12-14 weeks.
We aim to deliver our range of neon lights within 4-6 weeks worldwide. They take a little longer than many other products as they are made in small batches and shipped separately.
Delivery costs
We currently offer free standard delivery on all UK orders over £60, excluding limited editions, contemporary art rugs, and furniture items.
Our other delivery costs are as follows:
- UK – £5 per order
- Europe – £15 per order
- Rest of World – £28 per order
Limited editions
Due to the nature of our Limited Edition artworks, our delivery costs include packaging materials to sufficiently protect the works and a fully insured, door-to-door courier service.
- USA and Canada – £80 per order
- Europe – £120 per order
- Rest of World – £150 per order
Contemporary Art Rugs
- UK – £50 per order

Furniture
Delivery for our Goldfinger + Tate furniture is via a professional white-glove courier service at a cost of £150, who will assist you in all aspects of the delivery and installation of your new piece of furniture. Delivery is available for UK orders only.
As each item of furniture is made to order, delivery takes 12-14 weeks and will arrive separately to any other items in your Tate Shop order.
You are responsible for making sure that the piece that you’ve ordered will fit into your property and the room you intend to use it in upon delivery, as unfortunately we are unable to refund orders unless faulty. If you would like help ensuring that your item will fit, an access check can be provided for an extra fee of £80, which will be deducted from the cost of your item should you decide to proceed with an order. An access inspector will attend your property and make sure that the measurements of your entrances, corridors, doorways and stairs are compatible with delivery and installation of your table, so you can order with confidence. Tickets
Your tickets will be sent to you via email as a PDF attachment. If you’ve not received your tickets please contact our customer service team by emailing ticketing@tate.org.uk.
Membership
You will be emailed an e-membership card to use immediately. If you’ve bought a gift membership we’ll email an e-membership card to the recipient on the day their membership is due to start.
We’ll send out the full membership pack within 14 days of purchase, or you can collect your pack when you next visit any of our galleries.
International Shipping
We ship to over 150 countries worldwide.
Duties, tax and service charges
If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties, taxes and delivery service charges, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance.
Made to order prints, furniture and neon lights will be shipped separately from other items. Some of our books, posters, coffee and wines also come from different suppliers or directly from our gallery shop locations, so they may also be shipped separately. If your order includes a mixture of items from these ranges, you will receive separate customs clearance bills for each delivery.
Don’t worry: the clearance charge is calculated per item, so you do not pay more than you would for the same items in a single delivery.
Please be aware that customs policies and charges vary from country to country, and we advise you to contact your local customs office for further information. Please be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by custom authorities.
Restrictions
We can’t deliver to PO box addresses. These are restrictions imposed by our couriers.
