Using the colours from Sargent’s enduringly popular painting, and even rendering tiny lantern and flower details in the weave, the scarf is woven from 100% lambswool for a warm, cosy and long lasting accessory to see you through winter and beyond.
Though Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose, 1885–86 depicts a late summer evening, the green, navy, pink, warm orange and cream colours of the piece rendered in wool will suit any season, from cool evenings in summer, crisp spring mornings, chill autumn afternoons or cold winter days.
To make the wool scarf, we partnered with Wallace Sewell. Wallace Sewell was established by Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell, after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1990. Their work is distinguished by a positive and confident use of colour and an intelligent use of yarn properties and standard weave structures. They work closely with a mill in Lancashire and finishers in Huddersfield, W.T. Johnson & Sons so their products are designed and made in Britain from start to finish.

Delivery & returns
Delivery times
We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:
- UK – 2-3 working days
- International – 2-4 weeks
For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:
- UK – 1-2 weeks
- International – 2-4 weeks
Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.
If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.
Delivery costs
We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Our other delivery costs are as follows.
For orders under £60:
UK – £5 per order
European Union – £15 per order
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

Refunds & returns
If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return any items to us, free of charge within 60 days of purchase, and we will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, furniture and pierced earrings.
