Additional Information
Coffee by Tate is a vibrant community-led non-profit business that helps fund Tate Gallery and champion coffee producers and professionals of all genders throughout the coffee value chain. Our range of coffees is comprised of individual, community and family producers and designed to reflect the seasonality, diversity and quality of coffee grown across Africa and Latin America. Our range of Espresso and Filter coffees are the results of projects, relationships or initiatives that we have instigated or supported in producing communities, with the help of our partners, and changes seasonally. This is a more sustainable process that ensures the highest quality yield and allows us to work with more producers.

In 2016 Coffee by Tate set out to explore ways in which we could actively improve gender equality within our own coffee supply chain. This journey has led to many wonderful partnerships with outstanding producers, each with her own projects and story to tell. The result is our unique Trio De Mulheres blend which has an vibrant and outstanding flavour profile.
Keep your coffee sealed in the bag and store in a cool dry place away from sunlight. Use within 3 months.
Tate Collective's Open Call invited 16-25 year olds to create artworks for our coffee labels. Each entry was inspired by Coffee by Tate's values of quality, community and gender equality. This label titled Harvest Harmony was designed by Gitika Joshi.
About our producers
Fazenda Caxambu is a farm owned by the De Brito family, who work with the ethos of harnessing the land’s potential within the means of sustainable practices. Our relationship at Caxambu is with Carmen Lucia, who handles variety and processing management; she has a deep understanding of coffee’s complexity and engages holistic practices to push the boundaries of potential in coffee, producing some of the most unique and delicious coffee in Brazil. In 2021 she also introduced clean energy using photovoltaic panels and has successfully been able to fertilise her entire farm with organic fertiliser that she produces on site at the farm, alongside an ongoing native forest replanting programme on her farm and a bee pollination programme in her effort to protect and develop a flourishing environment.
Fazenda Canto Galo is a family farm set up by in 1968 by José Carlos Viera de Silveira. He was a dynamic man who fostered a great passion for coffee, evident in the high quality beans he produced. Since his passing in 1991 his family have kept his enthusiasm for coffee alive by continuing to manage the farm. His daughter, Andréia Oliveira da Silveira, is continuing the farm’s ambitions in quality and investing in a very high standard of infrastructure and training.
Josiani Moraes has a farm of 392 hectares and she is committed to environment sustainability and the wellbeing of her employees. With the help of donations from federal institutions she created a tree nursery and is in the process of extensively replanting 400,000 native trees on her land.
