Created as part of their 2016 project at Whitechapel Gallery, London, this poster took the form of a digital print on paper. The poster shows a large group of people hold paper masks of the Guerrilla Girls gorilla mask over their faces, with two people in gorilla costumes. Over a red background, black text reads: ‘DON'T LET MUSEUMS reduce art to the small number of artists who have won a popularity contest among big-time dealers, curators and collectors. If museums don't show art as DIVERSE as the cultures they claim to represent, TELL THEM they're not showing the history of art, they are just preserving the history of Wealth & Power’
‘Wealth & Power’ are written in large yellow handwriting for emphasis, and Guerrilla Girls is printed at the bottom right in the same colour.
In 45 x 60 cm format, the poster is large enough to grab the attention it deserves. It’s printed in full-bleed, without any border.
It’s part of our Guerrilla Girls Tate Edit takeover, a celebration of art and activism curated by the masked artists themselves. Formed in New York City in 1985, Guerrilla Girls strive to ‘fight discrimination through humour, activism, and the arts’, highlighting sexism, racism and elitism in the art world. They conceal their identities, often with gorilla masks, and use pseudonyms. They continue to produce publicity exposing discrimination, as well as conducting seminars and workshops in schools, colleges and art institutions.

Delivery times
We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:
- UK – 2-3 working days
- International – 2-4 weeks
For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:
- UK – 1-2 weeks
- International – 2-4 weeks
Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.
If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.
Delivery costs
We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Our other delivery costs are as follows.
For orders under £60:
UK – £5 per order
European Union – £15 per order
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

Refunds & returns
If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return any items to us, free of charge within 60 days of purchase, and we will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, furniture and pierced earrings.
