Additional Information

Hannah Quinlan and Rosie Hastings have generously produced Common Subjects, 2022, on the occasion of the exhibition Art Now: Hannah Quinlan and Rosie Hastings at Tate Britain, 24 September 2022 – 7 May 2023. The exhibition, titled Tulips, showcases a series of new fresco paintings and a large-scale drawing, which depict street scenes of people portraying various power dynamics, class and social relations and positions of authority. Their collaborative work is linked to their ongoing research and exploration into the relationship between public space, architecture, state infrastructure, gender and sexual identity, asking viewers to question what public space looks like. The limited edition was created using traditional etching techniques and is based on a fresco painting of the same title, and this piece, edition number 50, is presented in a black stained Sapele wood frame.

The print is signed and numbered by the artists.

Prices of the artwork are liable to change. As a limited edition sells out, prices of the artwork are subject to increase and the price will be clearly indicated.
