Look Again: Fashion

How we dress can be a deeply personal matter. But can dress also be the object of deeper artistic enquiry? And can it tell us something more about the societies in which we live? About the author

Shahidha Bari critic, academic and broadcaster. She is a Professor at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. Among her many roles, Bari has been a judge for the Forward Poetry Prizes, the Baillie Gifford Prize and the Booker Prize. She writes regularly for The Guardian, and presents arts programmes for BBC Radio and TV.
