The spiral was a recurring motif for Louise Bourgeois, representing an effort to bring chaos under control.
Saturated in a detail from one of the Japanese paper woodcut prints that make up the original Bourgeois artwork suite, the watch is swirled in a blue and white all-over spiral design. A semi-transparent, matte blue case houses the watch face, on which contrasting red minute and hour hands keep time. The silicone straps are securely fastened with a plastic blue buckle, and the end tucks into a frosted silicone loop bearing Tate’s iconic dot logo.
Swatch has been collaborating with art institutions and artists for over four decades now, spreading their belief that art makes the world a better place. Proud to be part of this aim, we’ve partnered with the Swiss watch makers to reinterpret Tate collection artworks to create quality timepieces inspired by timeless masterpieces.
As it is water resistant, you can keep your Louise Bourgeois watch clean with a toothbrush dipped in soapy water, and dry with a soft cloth. Rinse in lukewarm water after swimming in salt water, and avoid contact with solvents and creams. When your watch battery runs out, you can get it replaced for free at a Swatch shop.

Delivery times
We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:
- UK – 2-3 working days
- International – 2-4 weeks
For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:
- UK – 1-2 weeks
- International – 2-4 weeks
Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.
If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.
Delivery costs
We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Our other delivery costs are as follows.
For orders under £60:
UK – £5 per order
European Union – £15 per order
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

Refunds & returns
If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return any items to us, free of charge within 60 days of purchase, and we will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, furniture and pierced earrings.
