When Malola is tasked with sharing with her class what she wants to be when she grows up, she runs to the one place she knows will help her - her favourite room in her favourite museum.
But when she asks her favourite paintings what she should be when she grows up, she doesn’t expect them to come to life and take her on a journey to find the answer!
Follow Malola as she travels through a magical exhibition of paintings and learns of the many inspirational women who came before her, paving the way for her to be anything and everything she wants to be.
Joelle Avelino is a Congolese and Angolan London based illustrator and author. She graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BA (Hons) in Illustration with Marketing in 2012. She works with both traditional and digital methods of drawing and painting to create her vibrant and distinctive illustrations. She is greatly inspired by phenomenal women, everyday life and her African heritage. Having grown up in the UK, Joelle aims to bring these two worlds together through her work.

Delivery & returns
Delivery times
We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:
- UK – 2-3 working days
- International – 2-4 weeks
For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:
- UK – 1-2 weeks
- International – 2-4 weeks
Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.
If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.
Delivery costs
We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Our other delivery costs are as follows.
For orders under £60:
UK – £5 per order
European Union – £15 per order
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

Refunds & returns
If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return any items to us, free of charge within 60 days of purchase, and we will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, furniture and pierced earrings.
