Wooden artists’ palette brooch with splotches of real paint in an array of colours, as seen on BTS V. Handmade by UK designer and illustrator Kate Rowland, who was inspired by her own paint palettes and the appealing way the colours mix together throughout the painting process.

Each brooch is laser cut using responsibly sourced poplar plywood and British manufactured jewellery findings, and finished, painted and assembled by hand. Kate’s process means that whilst the brooches are all the same design, the paint splotches on each palette will be very slightly different – making each piece unique.

Kate Rowland is a British jewellery designer and illustrator. She uses ethically sourced materials to create playful, conversation-starting jewellery. Hand assembly is key to Kate’s practice – she draws each piece by hand, and aims to retain this sketched quality through the laser cutting process.

BTS member Taehyung bought his brooch on a trip to Tate Modern in 2019, and has been photographed wearing several times since.

Dimensions: 3.5 x 5 cm.

The surface of the brooch has been sealed to prevent colour running and fading, but please keep away from water and moisture to avoid damage to wood and metal parts, and store away from direct sunlight.

Delivery times

We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:

  • UK – 2-3 working days
  • International – 2-4 weeks

For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:

  • UK – 1-2 weeks
  • International – 2-4 weeks

Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.

If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.

 

Delivery costs

We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Our other delivery costs are as follows.

For orders under £60:

UK – £5 per order

European Union – £15 per order

Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

Refunds & returns

If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return any items to us, free of charge within 60 days of purchase, and we will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, furniture and pierced earrings.
