Seven postcard slots are indented in the calendar frame, allowing you to choose your own arrangement of the artwork, month and date postcards. 24 postcards are included with the calendar, each featuring a different Tate collection artwork, with a date or month printed on the back. As the postcard slots are made to fit standard postcards, you can add favourites from your own collection, or add new ones from your favourite exhibitions, allowing the calendar display to evolve with you over the years.
The postcards set included fits neatly into the back of the calendar, for easy storage of any postcards not in use. Its 3D design means that it can be hung on your wall using two keyhole slots on the back of the frame, or leaned against a vertical surface on your desk, shelf or mantlepiece.
The postcards in the set feature artworks by Pacita Abad, Pauline Boty, Frank Bowling, Sonia Boyce, Patrick Caulfield, Salvador Dalí, Rose Finn-Kelcey, Lucian Freud, Guerrilla Girls, Lubaina Himid, Barbara Hepworth, David Hockney, David Inshaw, Wassily Kandinsky, Sarah Lucas, Winifred Nicholson, Nam June Paik, Pablo Picasso, Bridget Riley, John Singer Sargent, David Shrigley, Jeff Wall, Andy Warhol and John William Waterhouse.
As well as being usable for many years to come, we’re pleased to say that the entire calendar, postcard set, and its packaging materials are all responsibly sourced from traceable pulp origins, carry FSC® certification. The calendar frame is also recyclable, biodegradable, and suitable for home composting.
Our Tate perpetual postcard calendar is created by London-based design consultancy, Graphic Thought Facility, who designed our first Tate Perpetual Postcard Calendar in 2001. We’re thrilled to partner with them again to bring this popular product back with improved usability and eco-friendliness.
Since 1990, GTF has created identities, publications, exhibitions, and products for a range of clients, including London’s Design Museum, Gagosian, Habitat, Frieze Art Fair, Vitra, and the V&A. Their work is featured in public collections worldwide, and they have held retrospectives at the Biennale Internationale de Design Graphique in Chaumont (2004), DDD Gallery in Osaka (2006), and the Art Institute of Chicago (2008).

Delivery times
We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:
- UK – 2-3 working days
- International – 2-4 weeks
For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:
- UK – 1-2 weeks
- International – 2-4 weeks
Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.
If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.
Delivery costs
We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Our other delivery costs are as follows.
For orders under £60:
UK – £5 per order
European Union – £15 per order
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

Refunds & returns
If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return any items to us, free of charge within 60 days of purchase, and we will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, furniture and pierced earrings.
