A subtle, yet no less vibrant, nod to Terry Frost’s Moonship, 1972, these hand-painted, wooden stud earrings are inspired by the pink and turquoise shape in Frost’s abstract artwork.

Made in collaboration with Barcelona based studio Materia Rica, the exclusive to Tate earrings are made from high quality walnut wood sourced close to their studio, and painted by hand to achieve the bold finish a Terry Frost inspired gift demands. They’re finished with hypoallergenic brass ear posts.

Approved by the Terry Frost estate, a card featuring an image of the original Tate artwork is included in the box with every pair of earrings. When not in wear, we recommend storing the earrings in this box, to avoid scratches or moisture damage.

Materia Rica was created by Marta Chojnacka and Joan Ayguade Jarque, who met in London and teamed up to create jewellery and accessories with a focus on sustainability and traditional craftsmanship. They use locally sourced FSC certified wood for their jewellery designs, and every necklace and earring is created in their Barcelona studio, dyed and finished completely by hand.

Please note that as these earrings are for pierced ears, for hygiene reasons we are unable to offer refunds or returns on them unless they are faulty.

Delivery times

We aim to deliver stocked shop products within:

  • UK – 2-3 working days
  • International – 2-4 weeks

For made-to-order items, including framed custom prints, furniture, lighting and rugs, we aim to deliver within:

  • UK – 1-2 weeks
  • International – 2-4 weeks

Please note that some items are dispatched separately if they are made to order (such as coffee, custom prints and custom print clothing, neon lights or furniture). This means that if you order these items alongside other shop products, they won’t all arrive together, and you’ll get several deliveries.

If the delivery time frame for each item has ended and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please get in touch and we’ll investigate for you.

 

Delivery costs

We currently offer free standard delivery on UK orders over £60. Our other delivery costs are as follows.

For orders under £60:

UK – £5 per order

European Union – £15 per order

Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) – £28 per order

Refunds & returns

If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return any items to us, free of charge within 60 days of purchase, and we will be happy to offer you a full refund, replacement or exchange on any items excluding custom prints, furniture and pierced earrings.
